The engine is equipped with asymmetric supercharger system and intelligent electronically controlled air drive exhaust gas bypass technology, coupled with Jiefang Power’s unique thermal management system and electronically controlled silicone oil fan technology, which can always keep the engine in the best working condition, improve power performance by 5% and reduce fuel consumption by 4%. In addition, the engine braking power is up to 350kW, which can improve safety and reduce the effect of brake pad loss.
Jiefang CA12TAX230M3 manual transmission, matched with the engine, is a Jiefang self-developed CA12TAX230M3 manual transmission, which adopts all-aluminium shell design with excellent lightweight level. It adopts double intermediate shaft design, B10 life reaches 1.5 million km, oil change mileage 100,000 km, which is a high-quality manual transmission.
The actual JH5 of Jiefang JH5 adopts 6×4 drive form, and the whole vehicle adopts lightweight steel ring. The front axle is lightweight two-piece steel plate spring suspension, effectively reducing the total weight of the vehicle. The rear axle adopts duplex 435 rear axle with main reduction ratio of 3.7, which enhances the power performance of the vehicle while taking into account the lightweight level and excellent bearing capacity. The rear axle adopts V-type thrust rod limiter, matched with 3-piece steel plate spring suspension. The lightweight performance of the whole vehicle is excellent, and the overall quality is only 8t.
On the left side of the chassis, this JH5 is equipped with a lightweight aluminium alloy fuel tank with a capacity of 800L. It adopts double-chamber design, capable of adding two different grades of diesel fuel at the same time. The right side of the chassis is designed with after-treatment system, boarding ladder, urea tank, storage battery and aluminium alloy gas tank, which is neat and orderly.
