FAW Jiefang Automotive Co., Ltd., a truck subsidiary of FAW Group, launched its J6V heavy-duty tractor in Changchun on Jan. 20.
Jiefang J6, as a world-class heavy-duty truck, rolled off assembly line in Changchun on July 15, 2007. In 2009, Jiefang J6 was chosen as China’s 10 millionth off-line representative model. In 2011, Jiefang J6 won the first prize of the “National Science and Technology Progress Award”. To date, Jiefang J6 has seen its accumulated output and sales volume exceeded 1.4 million units.
